About Breakaway Lab

An online school for the two most beautiful words in cycling: the peloton — the main group — and the breakaway, the escape off its front.

Why “peloton”? Why “breakaway”?

In road cycling, the peloton is the pack: dozens of riders sharing the wind. The French word also means a small ball or platoon — a tight unit that moves as one. This course teaches exactly that: how to sit in the group, take a pull, give a call and bring everyone home safe. And the breakaway? It is the escape: the small group that slips off the front of the peloton and dares to stay away. This course covers the full arc — ride the group, read the wind, then launch.

No aggressive goals, no countdowns, no result promises. The plan fits a schedule with 20 minutes one day and 90 minutes on another.

How the course was made

Lessons were recorded with our own crew, on the road and in the studio, with two coaches on screen to show execution and adaptations. Material is written in English, and drill sheets follow every session.

Team

Cycling coaches behind the lessons, plus the production and support team answering the contact channels. Full coach bios are published with each module.
